Quality down to the last detail
Bruno Carullo is looking forward to his workday. He is conducting machine acceptances again today. The RENA Technologies Service department checks every machine again down to the last detail before it is dismantled and delivered to the customer. “We have been thoroughly checking the machines for over ten years to ensure that customers get everything they ordered. It’s a great feeling when everything gets ticked off in the end,” explains Bruno Carullo. The experienced Service project manager knows the machines like the back of his hand. During the thorough quality inspection, either he or one of his four colleagues checks more than 200 individual items for functionality and quality. This can often take hours. “We gladly put in this effort for our customers, as we stand by our promise of quality,” emphasizes Dominik Heldt, VP Service & After-Sales at RENA Technologies. Another aspect of the quality inspection is the integration of the Service team across the entire life cycle of every single machine. This makes it easier to communicate with customers when a service matter arises and ensures much more efficient handling. Other benefits for customers are the shorter set-up and commissioning times and, therefore, the fast commencement of production. The concept is based on the “plug and play” principle that has already established itself in other areas. This service plays a direct role in optimizing the cost of ownership and is focused on the needs of customers.
