First Day at RE+ in Las Vegas

The opening of the RE+ trade show in Las Vegas was a great success for RENA Technologies. Already on the very first day, we welcomed numerous visitors from the solar industry to our booth and presented our central topic: the lowest Cost of Ownership for TOPCon, XBC and HJT production in the solar market.

Our discussions with customers, partners, and industry experts from the solar sector showed that the combination of technological innovation and sustainability is attracting strong interest. The following key technologies in the field of wet chemistry were particularly highlighted:

• Ozone (O₃)-based pre- and post-cleaning – an innovative wet-chemical process that is completely free of H₂O₂ and HNO₃. This sets a new standard for safe, sustainable, and cost-efficient cleaning steps in our wet chemistry equipment.
• The new RENA monoTEX® additive – proven to deliver excellent performance with consistently high quality in wet etching. monoTEX® is the leading surfactant and wetting agent for alkaline texturing: non-flammable, process-stable, and with nearly linear behavior under changes in temperature and concentration. It allows flexible adjustment of pyramid sizes and impresses with reduced chemical consumption and high process reliability.
• Water-saving technology – more than 50% reduction in water consumption compared to conventional processes.

The response on the first day confirmed: efficiency, sustainability, and process reliability are the decisive factors for our customers in the solar industry – and this is precisely where RENA’s wet chemistry equipment comes into play. Our solutions make an important contribution to ensuring that solar energy continues to be a driving force in the field of renewable energy.
