A RENA system may be ready to leave the factory, but its journey is not yet complete. Before the equipment can be installed and commissioned at the customer’s production site, it must arrive safely and in the correct configuration. Careful packaging and transport planning are therefore an integral part of every equipment project.

Why does wet processing equipment require special transport preparation?

Industrial wet processing systems contain sensitive components that must be protected throughout the journey. Vibrations during transportation, movements of the cargo, and the loading and unloading process can place mechanical stress on the equipment.

How are RENA systems packaged for transport?

Packaging a RENA system involves several coordinated steps. First, the equipment is carefully wrapped to protect it against water and moisture. Sensitive areas are then padded and secured to reduce the effects of vibration, impact and movement.

Finally, the system is enclosed in a robust wooden shipping structure. Together, these protective layers help safeguard the equipment during handling, loading and transportation.

Transporting complete systems or individual modules

The appropriate transport concept depends on the dimensions and configuration of the equipment. Some RENA customized wet bench can be shipped largely assembled. Larger or more complex wet chemical systems may need to be partially disassembled and divided into several modules.

Each module is individually prepared, protected and loaded for transport. At the customer’s site, the sections are positioned and reassembled in the intended system configuration. This modular approach makes it possible to transport complex equipment while taking the conditions at the destination into account.

From delivery to installation and commissioning

Once the equipment arrives, the shipping structure and protective layers are removed. The complete wet chemical process equipment or its individual modules are then moved into their designated positions and prepared for installation and commissioning.
