Your benefits as a RENA employee

Our benefits are more than just perks – they are our contribution to a working environment
that puts quality of life, balance, and well-being at its core.

Working Time

Within company requirements, employees can flexibly schedule their working hours: Monday–Friday between 5:50 AM and 8:00 PM.

With the flexitime model, employees can flexibly organize their hours and accumulate or reduce overtime in a personal time account.

With our individual life-work account, employees can convert overtime, unused vacation, or parts of their salary into a credit with tax advantages. After probation or contract changes, the balance can be used for sabbatical, parental leave, or early retirement.

Overtime is paid with a 25 % premium on the regular hourly wage.

Employees have the option to work remotely once or twice per week.

Work schedules can be tailored individually in consultation with supervisors — e.g., reduced weekly hours or other flexible arrangements.

Security & Insurance

Starting from month 7 of employment, RENA contributes €45 monthly to the company pension scheme; additional employee contributions are also subsidized by 15 %.

A state-supported company income protection plan provides financial security in case of inability to work, with simplified access.

All employees are covered by group accident insurance both at work and privately — worldwide and 24/7.

Employees are comprehensively covered for health during business trips abroad.

Employees receive free work clothing and safety shoes with an annual budget provided.

Health

Smart fridges with a wide selection of meals (bowls, salads, snacks, desserts) are available; RENA subsidizes meals prepared without additives with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Employees get access to fitness studios, swimming pools, yoga, climbing halls, physiotherapy facilities, and more — including wellness offers like saunas or massages where available. The Hansefit app includes online courses, tailored training plans and health check-ups, and membership is flexible to cancel.

RENA enables employees to lease their preferred bicycle or e-bike; leasing payments are deducted from gross salary, offering up to ~40 % savings vs. purchase. Insurance costs are covered by RENA.

At the Gütenbach and Mönchweiler sites, high-quality coffee with fresh milk is offered at cost price (€0.35), including various coffee varieties.

Office spaces have height-adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs; production areas offer elevated benches for ergonomic work.

If needed, RENA pays a €120 subsidy toward computer glasses.

RENA regularly organizes health days to promote long-term employee health.

Vacation

RENA grants special leave for events such as marriage, birth of a child, moving home, or in case of death of close relatives.

In addition to the statutory 20 days, employees receive 10 extra days, totaling 30 days per year for a 40-hour week.

With agreement, vacation can be taken before or after a business trip or assembly abroad so employees can privately benefit.

Training & Development

RENA supports employees individually and specifically in qualification and training measures.

RENA supports employees pursuing professional part-time training.
