Sustainability at RENA: Responsible for People, the Environment, and Resources
At RENA Technologies, sustainability is embedded in everything we do. It shapes the way we develop our technologies, operate our production facilities, and continuously improve our sites. Our goal is to use resources responsibly while creating long-term value for our customers, employees, and the environment.
A key element of this commitment is our energy supply. Our production facilities operate on 100% green electricity, and we continue to expand the use of renewable energy. Following the expansion of our photovoltaic systems at our sites in Germany and Poland in 2025, further investments are already planned.
We are also continuously improving the efficiency of our operations behind the scenes. Measures include the transition to LED lighting, modern compressed air and refrigeration systems, wood-chip heating, and closed-loop deionized water systems. At the same time, we develop wet processing solutions that help our customers reduce energy, water, and process chemical consumption, making their manufacturing processes more sustainable.
For us, sustainability goes beyond environmental protection. It also means providing safe working conditions, investing in employee development, promoting equal opportunities and diversity, and supporting our local communities. Independent assessments such as EcoVadis and our ISO 14001 certification by TÜV SÜD help us measure our progress and drive continuous improvement.
